The honest
answers.

Including the ones most peptide companies leave out. If something here is unclear or you need a batch-specific document, write to us before you order — not after.

01

Purity & Testing

Yes. Testing is performed by an independent analytical laboratory — Horizon Analytical — on the compound and batch supplied to us. Most products carry both a purity certificate and an endotoxin certificate.

Every certificate we hold is published openly on our Certificates of Analysis page. Nothing is hidden behind an email request.

Not necessarily, and we would rather say so plainly than let you assume otherwise.

Certificates are provided by our supplier and reflect testing on the batch we sourced. Batch and lot numbers change over time. We make reasonable efforts to display the certificate that corresponds to the product and batch we are shipping, but we do not warrant that a displayed COA corresponds to the exact vial in your hand.

If you need a batch-specific certificate for a particular order, ask us before you purchase and we will confirm what we can supply. Email jonah@glowwithheather.com.

It is the purity standard we hold our supplier to, evidenced by the purity certificate for that batch. Read the certificate itself rather than the number on a banner — ours are linked from every product page and listed together on the COA page.

Because the alternative is pretending we know something we do not.

Where a compound has not been independently confirmed by mass spectrometry, the product page says so in the description and in the specifications table, and we make no representation as to its structure. You can see exactly which products those are before you buy. We would rather lose a sale than paper over a gap in the documentation.

02

Storage & Handling

Most lyophilized peptides are stored at −20 °C, and at 2–8 °C once in solution. Storage is not uniform across the catalogue, though — Lipo-C with B-12 is refrigerated at 2–8 °C, GHK-Cu and Glutathione should additionally be protected from light and oxidation, and the laboratory reagents are stored at room temperature.

The exact storage condition for every product is stated in the Specifications table on its product page. Our full Storage & Handling guide covers the detail.

Lyophilized peptides are generally brought into solution with bacteriostatic water — sterile water containing 0.9% benzyl alcohol as a preservative. Where a compound does not fully dissolve in neutral aqueous media, 0.6% acetic acid is used as the diluent instead.

Solubility and storage behaviour differ between compounds. The Storage & Handling guide covers general handling conditions, and the certificate of analysis for a given lot is the authoritative reference for that lot.

Lyophilized powder is considerably more stable in transit than reconstituted solution, and brief time at ambient temperature during shipping is normal and expected.

If a vial arrives visibly damaged, cracked, discoloured or already in solution, contact courtney@glowwithheather.com promptly — damaged or incorrect items are the exception to our returns policy.

Some compounds are genuinely coloured — GHK-Cu, for instance, is a blue lyophilized powder because of its copper complex. Beyond that, the physical appearance of a lyophilized cake can vary between batches without indicating a problem.

If something looks wrong to you, email us with a photo before using it and we will look at the batch documentation with you.

03

Ordering & Payment

In your account. Status, tracking number and full order history appear at your order history as soon as a label is created — usually sooner than we could answer an email about it.

If it has not shipped, very likely yes — email courtney@glowwithheather.com immediately with your order number. Once a label is created and the parcel is with the carrier, we cannot recall it.

We also reserve the right to refuse, cancel or limit any order at our discretion, including for suspected misuse or errors in pricing or availability.

Both. Glow Loyalty rewards repeat orders, and the Affiliate Program is for anyone sharing the brand with their own audience.

For wholesale, bulk or salon accounts, email jonah@glowwithheather.com directly.

All prices are in U.S. dollars and are subject to change without notice. Placing an order does not guarantee acceptance until payment is processed and the order is confirmed.

04

Shipping & Returns

Within the United States, priority shipping is a $15 flat rate, and free on orders over $250. Everything ships discreetly and tracked.

Yes. Plain outer packaging with no branding, product names or indication of contents on the outside.

A label that shows as created but not yet scanned usually means the parcel is with us or has not been scanned in at the carrier's first facility yet. Give it one business day.

If it still has not moved after that, email courtney@glowwithheather.com with your order number and we will chase the carrier ourselves rather than sending you to do it.

Because of the nature of research materials, products are generally non-returnable and non-refundable once shipped — except where required by law, or where a product arrives damaged or incorrect.

If either of those applies to your order, contact us promptly and we will put it right. Title and risk of loss pass to you when we hand the parcel to the carrier, and delivery times are estimates rather than guarantees.
